One / Two Day Team Building Workshop

Aims:
This workshop is for team members who wish to further their understanding of team dynamics. It
aims to raise awareness of effective teamwork and look at the processes that enhance and hinder
teams, and explore some strategies for greater team effectiveness in dealing with what is unsaid in
teams, and gain support and consultancy for working methods and practice.

Objectives:
By the end of the course participants should:
• Have a greater awareness of team processes and dynamics
• Be able to recognise when team dynamics are affecting the team and have developed resources
for dealing with them.
• Understand their own strengths and weaknesses in dealing with difficult dynamics in the team.
• Feel more confident in working with each other.
Methods:
• This is a participatory course using small group experiential exercises, discussion, theoretical input,
and analysis of team dynamics as tools for learning.
• It would be appreciated if participants could consider before the course, issues that they may wish
to raise or difficult scenarios that they would be happy to share in the group.
